Supports for Children and Families
With Family Support we help you choose a Community Support Worker that you feel comfortable having in your own home and/or supporting your son or daughter in the community. The role of the worker is determined by you.

Both the HOST FAMILY and ASSOCIATE FAMILY are options provided for your child to participate in activities and to spend time with another family; a family that shares your ideas on family and child care values. Visits to a Host Family are generally brief in nature. Associate Families provide a shared care model of support where a child generally stay for a more extended period of time.

A spacious and accessible Respite Home is available for adults to visit for brief stays away from their family home. The energetic Community Support Worker work hard to create a comfortable Energetic Community Support Workers, at this spacious and accessible respite home aim to provide a "home Like" setting for children to spend time away from their families for short stays. Individualized bedrooms, a large back yard, local parks and an abundance of toys and games provide lots of opportunities for fun, recreation, leisure and play with peers.
