LOTTERY RULES
 

PRIZE:

1. Brand new 2007 Subaru Outback, 2.5i Limited valued at $43,173.80.
2. There is no cash alternative in lieu of the prize.
3. Prize Restrictions: Vehicle must be picked up at Dealership.

PURCHASE OF TICKETS

4. Only 999 tickets will be sold at $100.00 each.
5. The Raffle Coordinator from SKILLS and immediate family members residing within the same household are restricted from purchasing tickets.
6. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age; raffle ticket sellers will advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under the age of 18 years on the ticket, due to requirements of the Public Trustee Act.
7.
Ticket purchasers must reside in Alberta.
8. Once a ticket is purchased it will not be refunded.
9. A minimum number of 650 tickets must be sold before a request for extension of the draw date or cancellation of the raffle is requested from the Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

10. VISA, Mastercard, cash, money order and certified cheques will be accepted. Ticket stubs for non-certified cheques and credit card payments will not be included in the draw until the cheque or credit card payment clears the bank.

PRIZE DRAW

11. The draw will take place at Santa Maria Goretti Community Centre, 11050 – 90 Street, on Monday, June 25 th , 2007.

12. The draw will be conducted as follow: The draw will take place during the SKILLS Society 26 th Annual General Meeting, at approximately 8 p.m. Two Executive Members of the SKILLS Board of Directors and 3 members of the public (individuals who are not members of SKILLS Society) will be present to witness the draw. The draw is open to the public. The ticket will be manually drawn from a transparent draw barrel. Only the person making the draw will put their arm into the draw barrel. Prior to the draw, the draw barrel will be rotated a minimum of three times. The arm of the person making the draw will be “bare” of clothing below the elbow; he/she will exhibit his/her draw arm and both sides of his/her open hand to the draw witnesses, immediately prior to making the draw. The person making the draw will look away from the container in the direction of the witness, when selecting the winning ticket from the draw barrel. The winning ticket will be displayed to the witnesses for inspection immediately after they are drawn from the barrel. A record of the ticket drawn will be made, indicating the ticket number, the name, address and phone number of the prize-winner and the time and date the ticket was drawn.

13. If all tickets are sold prior to June 25 th , 2007, the draw date may be moved up, with approval from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.

14. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, SKILLS shall award the prize to the first name of all individuals identified on the ticket. SKILLS and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

15. The name of the Winner will be posted on the SKILLS Society website within two weeks of the draw.

16. The winner has 1 year from the draw date to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within the one-year period after the draw date, SKILLS Society will request permission from Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission to retain the prize for a future event, or donate the prize to another charitable organization.

PRIVACY

17. Personal information collected by SKILLS Society will be used only to process ticket orders, notify the winner and send out information about future raffles and special events held by SKILLS.
