Respite Supports for Adults
|
With IN HOME RESPITE , we help you choose a Community Support Worker that you feel comfortable having in your own home and/or supporting your son or daughter in the community. The role of the worker is determined by you. The goal of support to become more a part of the community to be able to spend time with friends...to take part in events, clubs or other places in the community...the possibilities are endless.
The HOST FAMILY option provides an opportunity for your adult son or daughter to spend time with another family that shares your ideas and values and will provide family life experiences that fit with your son or daughter's interests.
Two spacious and accessible RESPITE HOMES are available for adults to visit for brief stays away from their family home. The energetic Community Support Worker work hard to create a comfortable and safe environment where individuals can enjoy themselves. For example by mingling and exposing your son/daughter with others, or making it possible to participate community events.
