Take Six Productions is a film-making co-op committed to making films about the cool things that people with disabilities are knowing about and doing in community life.

We have just completed a documentary called “Hot Summer Road Trip: What's Cool in Your Community?”. Its about a two day trip we took in June to go talk with people in some small towns about what they think is cool in their communities! It was hard work and lots of fun. We learned how to be a film crew, and we learned about what people like about living in Millet, Camrose, Bawlf, and Daysland!

Our vision is a city where people with disabilities begin to use film as a way of making their stories and their voices heard. We believe that there are many really great stories just waiting to be told. We believe that people with disabilities have lots of great things to say. We believe that there are many people that will be very excited to hear more from people with disabilities and their allies.
